There are four pages in this pack:
1. Trace and color shamrock page.
2. Counting shamrocks page.
3. Roll and cover the gold coins page.
4. S is for Shamrock page. You can color this page or use dot markers, or whatever your preference is.
Of course you may have a different idea on how to use the pages. If you want to leave different ideas for how to use these pages in the comments section that would be great! It's nice to get some fresh inspiration from others.
For instance, for the roll and cover the gold coin page I won't be using dice, simply because we don't have any. What I usually do is put the magnetic numbers that I got from the dollar store in a bowl for Liam to draw out one at a time. When he gets a number from the bowl I ask him if he knows the number (he hasn't yet) and if not I tell him what number it is and have him count out that many markers. I'm hoping to find some gold coin markers for us to use with this page before St. Patty's day gets here.
Just click the image below to get a copy of the pack. If you share this with others please link directly to this post on my blog, and not to the file itself. Also, if you have any problems accessing the download would you please leave me a note in the comments section? Thank you!
I hope your kiddos enjoy!

Cute! I think for the Roll and Cover game, my 5 year old would like it if I printed two and we "raced" to cover it up--I would probably use two dice and have him do addition..or start with the board full and do subtraction. You could always use pennies if you don't find gold coins.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Brittney! Those are awesome ideas! Wouldn't have thought of starting with the board full.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on using pennies if we don't find the gold coins. :)
