Liam and I moved on to the letter J (which he kept calling the letter G) this week and did a few Christmas activities as well.
We did our All About Reading Level Pre-1 lessons for the letter J. We didn't get around to the extra activities included in the lessons this week, even though I had meant to do them. I might try to sneak them in at some point next week. At this point, since Liam seems to enjoy this program for the most part, I plan to continue on with the All About Reading program as our main reading curriculum in the future. We'll also use Bob Books and the Ready2Read program as a supplement.
Here are some of the other letter J activities we did. These three pages are from the Confessions of a Homeschoolers LOTW curriculum. I believe these letter J activities can all be found for free here. She also has a nice J is for Jesus set which would be perfect for this time of year.
He enjoys using the Wiki Sticks to make his letter and number for the week. I think I prefer the wiki sticks over playdough slightly because the wiki sticks don't dry out. Liam loves playing with playdough, so we usually still do that too.
Here are a few of the math activities we did this week. The Polar Express puzzle and the number 10 do-a-dot page both come from 3 Dinosaurs.
We also did a Christmas craft last weekend.Glitter Pinecones. My hubby came up with the perfect way for doing this that allowed Liam to participate way more than he would have been able to otherwise. I think I'll write a separate post that explains what our method was.
Check out what others have been up to this week at these great link ups.

Oh I love the glitter pinecones! So sorry about your computer problems, but glad to see you are up and running again :)
